About the role

The Production Lead will report direclty to our Plant Manager and will lead the start of a Plant with Continuous Improvement Philosophy. This position will have between 15 and 20 direct operative reports and will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure client requirements and excellent service.

 

Key responsibilities

Lead the start of the plant through Continuous Improvement Philosophy

Direct the operation of the production lines efficiently.

In colaboration with the PPDS, elaborate the manufacturing master plan.

In colaboration with the maintenance manager, create the appropriate conditions to give compliance to the maintenance master plan. Monitor the performance of the lines according to the business objectives.

Identify omprovement opportunities and implement action plans.

In colaboration with the quality manager, ensure compliance with quality standards according to business needs.

Actively participate in Safety and Quality initiatives and programs.

Responsible for the KPI's of the manufacturing area.

Manage the production team.

Qualifications and skills
  • Food Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Food Chemical or related.
  • Spanish / English (intermediate/advance)
  • 3 or more years of experience in production lead role positions in food or pharma industry.
  • HACCP, FSSC22000, Lean Manufacturing, WMC, SAP.
  • Six Sigma, Green Belt or WCM related course, ideally certification.
