About the role

The purpose of this position is to direct key food safety and quality initiatives and lead continuous excellence to bring our flavour site up to Kerry standard, meanwhile to strengthen the communications both internal with cross-functional and external with customer so that to make it easier and more valuable for our customer to do business with us.

Key responsibilities
  • Responsible for the whole QA & QC team in the plant to ensure the team high effective running.
  • Follow group quality policy and ensure all of quality policy to be implemented well at local site.
  • Lay down local quality system in liaison with group requirements.
  • QS license handling and all of documents preparation to meet requirements from local government.
  • Focus on some of change or update on Law and products standard; to ensure food safety and quality control
  • Provide training to employee on quality system /or quality guideline.
  • Take correct action to solve quality problem to meet customer needs or/ provide continues improvement on quality. Example for reject.
  • Quality control for each process or/ point including raw materials, finished goods, working in process etc across plant. quality improvement and optimisation as needed.
  • Work closely with the other departments to support the production and cooperates in solving production problems.
  • Maintain and support the process or/ products quality to keep the production running smoothly.
  • Other task assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications and skills

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, Major in food science, food industry, chemical, or related.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experiences in Quality and food safety management in flavor industry or similar manufacturing environment essential.
  • Previous Food industry experience – applicable food processing technology expertise and statistical process experience.
  • Be familiar with FSSC/ISO22000, experience on AIB.
