Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring that all Kerry policies and standards are implemented and adhered to while ensuring regional, national and local legislative requirements are met by the operations team including the site engineering function and any external services/contractors utilized in the operation, maintenance or project works necessary across the EUS equipment, processes or systems in its delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a robust statutory PM program across Environmental, Utilities and Services processes.
  • Responsible for ensuring all infrastructure and/or equipment selected is fit for purpose and fulfils all regional, national and local legislative regulatory requirements in its application and any materials used or manufactured within it are fit for purpose on completion.
  • Manage Change to all EUS under their remit ensuring a ‘change control process’ is in place to effectively sustain and embed any changes. Manage projects using KDM (Kerry Delivery Method).
  • Works closely with site procurement for EUS sourcing, provides feedback on changing site requirements and supplier performance.
  • Leads and participates in EUS process and equipment risk assessments in order to optimize engineering design, hygienic design, personnel safety, environmental and quality compliance.
  • Responsible for the management & implementation of small-scale capital improvement projects and/or trials to agreed timeframes, budget and scope limits including the management of internal or external resources to complete such projects.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) in Engineering.
  • 5 plus years of progressive experience work in plant utilities management or plant maintenance.
  • 2 – 3 years supervisory experience.
  • 1 – 2 years prior food manufacturing or alternative heavily regulated environment (e.g. Pharma manufacturing, automotive etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence, coach, and develop a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and experience is SAP and AutoCAD (preferred).

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $62,906 to $92,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
