Key responsibilities
• Manage daily operations of the manufacturing floor, ensuring production targets are met.
• Participate in plant schedule planning, including raw materials, packaging requirements, sequencing review, and sign-off.
• Oversee all activities related to people and equipment availability in the resource scheduling process.
• Ensure line start-up, including health & safety, raw material and packaging checks, environment checks, line set-up confirmations, and audits.
• Accountable for equipment readiness and activation during line start-up and auditing.
• Consult in raw material and packaging collection, compliance checks, and document time registration within the BOM Production Process.
• Accountable for problem identification, escalation, and resolution within the BOM Production Process.
• Responsible for QSHE reviews and production efficiency reviews within line/area performance management.
• Oversee training and development plans within the people management process.
• Responsible for the execution of internal and external audits and the audit de-brief process.
Qualifications and skills
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Experience in manufacturing required; experience in food manufacturing highly preferred.
• Authentic leadership with credibility among senior stakeholders and plant leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and coach leaders within the organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead teams to success.
• Excellent communication skills across all functions and levels of the business.
• Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
• Project management experience with practical knowledge of tools and techniques.
• Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to translate operational improvements into financial impact.
Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $64,479 to $105,272 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
