1st Shift Opportunity working Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

What You'll Do:

As a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler you'll be responsible for the planning and scheduling of all maintenance work performed in the area. You will maintain liaison and coordination between the production and maintenance organizations, maintain appropriate records and files to permit meaningful analysis and reporting of results or work done.      

                              

  • Participates in weekly plant scheduling meeting with weeks ahead plan for preventative, predictive and planned maintenance requirements.
  • Recommends equipment to be included in preventative maintenance programs.
  • The planner receives all work orders from the requesting departments of the areas to which he/she is assigned, except for emergency work which is requested of the Maintenance Manager for immediate attention.
    • Makes any additional sketches, diagrams, etc., necessary to clarify the intent of the work order.
  • Reviews and screens each work order to see that it has been properly filled out:
    • Work scope clearly described
    • Check if the priority and requested completion date are realistic and provide practical lead time
    • Charge numbers and other coding are complete and accurate
    • Authorization is proper
    • Discusses the details with the originating department as appropriate
  • Assist our Maintenance Technicians as needed.

What You'll Need to Be Successful and Safe:

  • Engineering degree, technical school or military training preferred.
  • SAP experience highly preferred.
  • Have a good working knowledge of personal computers and relational databases including CMMS (Computerize Maintenance Management System) software.
  • Very good understanding of industrial electromechanical systems.
  • Good oral / written communication skills, possess tact, and the ability to negotiate maintenance needs in balance with other departmental requirements.
  •  Have good planning, organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to keep multiple jobs in controlled motion – simultaneously.
  • Previous Industrial Maintenance scheduling and planning experience preferred, an added plus if was a 24/7 facility.

Salary:

The typical hiring range for this role is $62,906 - $85,587 per year and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
