Our Harrisonburg*, VA, location is part of our Taste division and creates a variety of stock broth, soups, and bases. What will you do?

Main Objective:

Optimize maintenance, make it more predictable and manageable. Continue to improve and guarantee the maintenance of production installations and process equipment together with your colleagues.

 

Main Activities:

  • Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect facility manufacturing processes.
  • Complete criticality analysis (FMEA) of plant assets, to ensure correct PM and spare part holding.
  • Develop maintenance tech capability (knowledge transfer through training).
  • Work with regional reliability engineers/asset management lifecycle team to understand leading maintenance practices to be implemented at the plant.
  • Drive embedding predictive maintenance practices within the site maintenance agenda.
  • Develop, present and implement improvement proposals and advise the Site Leadership Team.
  • Translate maintenance concepts into maintenance tasks and work assignments.
  • Monitor performance indicators, benchmarkings, procedures and work instructions.
  • Collect and organize relevant and reliable production and maintenance data. Upload this data in ERP (SAP PM) system.
  • Analyze data, identify deviations, problems and improvement possibilities.
  • Analyze problems, finding (core) causes, both in technology, in human behaviour, and in the organization. 
  • Prevent risks through preventive measures and anticipate unforeseen measures.
  • Anticipate creating added value and eliminating waste.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) in Engineering.
  • 5+ plus years of progressive experience in reliability engineering.
  • Food industry experience preferred but open to other industries within a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in continuous improvement working with lean tools and methodologies (six sigma).
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is a nice to have.
  • SAP and Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Ability to use the principles of calculus and trigonometry for analysis, design, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to review and interpret equipment manuals, P&IDs and electrical drawings.

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $73,758 to $108,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
