Key responsibilities

  • Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect facility manufacturing processes.
  • Completing criticality analysis (FMEA) of plant assets, to ensure correct PM and spare part holding.
  • Develop maintenance tech capability (knowledge transfer through training).
  • Work with regional reliability engineers/asset management lifecycle team to understand leading maintenance practices to be implemented at the plant.
  • Drive embedding predictive maintenance practices within the site maintenance agenda.
  • Support plant maintenance manager with special tasks and actions.
  • Develop, present and implement improvement proposals and advise the Site Leadership Team.
  • Translating the maintenance concept into maintenance tasks and work assignments.
  • Monitoring of performance indicators, benchmarking, procedures and work instructions.
  • Collect and organize of relevant and reliable production and maintenance data. Upload this data in ERP (SAP PM) system.
  • Analyzing: data, identifying deviations, problems and improvement possibilities.
  • Analyzing problems, finding (core) causes, both in technology, in human behavior, and in the organization.
  • Providing well-considered recommendations and proposing / taking effective measures.
  • Preventing risks through preventive measures and anticipating unforeseen measures.
  • Anticipating creating added value and eliminating waste.
  • Facilitating group meetings in solving issues and involving the right professionals at the right time.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) in Engineering.
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CRMP) preferred.
  • 5 plus years of progressive experience in engineering, reliability or plant maintenance.
  • 1 – 2 years prior food manufacturing or alternative heavily regulated environment (e.g. Pharma manufacturing, automotive etc.).
  • Experience in continuous improvement working with lean tools and methodologies, preferred.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on individual with keen interest in quickly learning and applying new skills who can follow written/verbal instructions and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and experience is SAP and AutoCAD (preferred).

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $73,758 to $108,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
