Account Manager Kerry Savoury - Germany - Home Office

The Account Manager's primary focus will be to win in this market and maximising sales opportunities by creating and activating customer strategy that is aligned to delivering the defined business strategies.

This role is supporting our Dach and Northern Europe businesses across our savoury portfolio. The ideal candidate will be based in this region from their home office. Key responsibilities

  • Deliver & maximise the budgeted profitability of the savoury market in DACH
  • Accountable for the performance of customers, including entering new projects
  • Provide expert knowledge of customers to key cross functional stakeholder groups
  • In collaboration with the Sales Director, prioritising, managing and allocating budgets and resources for the defined customers
  • Accountable for driving excellence in customer business planning and delivery
  • Building senior level customer relationships to leverage Kerry’s market performance
  • Accountable for identification of the customer opportunity for all new innovation projects
  • Accountable for ensuring an optimum plan is in place with all strategic customers for innovation (generation & delivery)

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in savoury in DACH region
  • Strong commercial acumen, confidence to make commercially sound decisions
  • Ability to build, lead, negotiate and conclude commercially sound customer plans
  • Pro-actively identifies and unlocks opportunities
  • Numerate with a good understanding of business drivers
  • Proven ability in analysing and interpreting all available data
  • Solid understanding of commercial elements
  • Able to build a robust portfolio plan
  • Demonstrates good customer awareness
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrates a high level of drive
  • Fluent in German & English
