About the role

The Marketing Manager will be working closely with the Central Europe Commercial, R&DA and BDMs teams as well as with marketing teams in other business units and the headquarter. The role is B2B customer-facing and require travel within the Central Europe region (30%). It is a fast-paced role and an exciting opportunity to work for an international company.

Home office is possible for the first year, then, a hybrid working model will apply (1-2 days at the office).

Key responsibilities

• Engaging face-to-face with Target Customers operating in retail channel in Central Europe Business Unit - from identifying Target Customer’s needs, right to play, right to win, addressing the Customers needs properly to deliver clear & meaningful benefits for the Customer and the consumers.

• Bringing the market intelligence and profound understanding of the local consumers.

• Ensuring Kerry’s marketing activities and campaigns are properly tailored to the local market needs, expectations, and fit for purpose.

• Working with Strategic Marketing and Commercial teams to implement and execute them with the most impact.

• Building intimacy and strengthening relationships with Target Customers.

• Supporting the Marketing Lead in developing the activation plan and strategy of Food, Bev & Meat for CE Business Unit.

• Identifying growth opportunities for Kerry’s ingredients in the region.

Qualifications and skills

In order to be successful in this role we would be looking for the right competencies and aptitudes.These include:

•A bachelor's or master’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

•Experience in marketing filed in B2B environment, preferably in the food industry, which would be an advantage, but passion for the food is of higher importance.

•Proven record of effective project management or execution of activation plan.

•English language is a must on fluent level, German language - on advanced level, written and verbal.

•Ability to work effectively within an internationally operating matrix company.

•Outgoing and engaging personality; someone who can collaborate with multifunctional teams.

•Presentation/speaking skills.

•Being courageous, curios, open-minded & entrepreneurial, taking ownership for the actions.

•Proficiency in stakeholder management and workload prioritization.

•Proficiency in Office tools, experience with the Adobe Creative Suite would be an advantage.

•Respect & positive attitude for work, life & oneself, with willingness to learn every day.
