About the role

As the Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager, you will be a key member of the Kettle Regionally Managed Business (RMB) Leadership Team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and leading the CI strategy across various departments, including Manufacturing, HR, Finance, Engineering, QA, and Supply Chain. You will drive operational improvements, streamline processes, and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a CI strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve processes in all departments (Manufacturing, HR, Finance, Engineering, etc.).
  • Act as a change agent by coaching, mentoring, and training employees to adopt CI principles.
  • Work closely with leadership to ensure standardization of processes, procedures, and records across the site.
  • Monitor progress, assess CI maturity levels, and create action plans to close any performance gaps.
  • Foster a culture of accountability by holding teams responsible for meeting improvement timelines.
  • Drive a mindset of continuous learning and self-development, keeping up with best practices and industry trends.

Qualifications and skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Experience managing budgets and leading complex projects.
    • Strong leadership skills with a focus on influencing others and delivering sustainable results.
    • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and training teams on CI processes.
