About the role

As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you'll share your LEAN knowledge and practical continuous improvement experience to support the teams to achieve better production results, and bring them along on the CI journey.

Key responsibilities

On a high level, the Continuous Improvement Manager will:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of a lean manufacturing system in the facility
  • Define and teach new ways of working utilizing lean methodologies
  • Lead, train and execute continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve KPI performance and increase site leadership and hourly employee knowledge and behaviors to remove waste in all areas of the site
  • Example of key initiatives: reliability improvement and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) improvements, and implementing performance goals 

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Food Science or related field is required
  • 7-10 years Lean manufacturing methodology and proficiency leading kaizen events, value stream mapping and utilizing lean problem. Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing certifications are highly preferred
  • HACCP/food safety experience in food or beverage manufacturing environments
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including SAP and other systems
