What you'll do:

 

As a Production Scheduler, you will be part of our supply chain team.  If you’re looking to build a career in supply chain with a team you can have some fun with, we might be the team for you.  As a Production Scheduler, you will:

 

  • Continuously improve customer satisfaction for assigned work centers through consistently meeting customer demand targets, inventory levels, and raw material planning.
  • Identify complex problems, review related information to develop and evaluate options with intent to implement solutions.
  • Monitor/ report plant supply plans and raw material levels to meet inventory/ turn goals

 

The Production Scheduler is extremely important to us.  We will rely on you to prepare and communicate the daily production schedule.  As a team member, you will work with Customer Service and the Supply Chain group to meet customer needs.  Working with the Purchasing Coordinator and the Shipping Clerk to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods is part of this role.  We will rely on you to manage inventory of raw ingredients, finished goods and rework.

What you'll need to be successful and safe:

 

To get the most of this role at Kerry you’ll need to come with knowledge as a scheduler ability to influence up, and we’d prefer if you had supply chain experience.  You’ll also meet these minimum requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Word & Excel, internet navigation, and the ability to learn other programs quickly
  • SAP experience is preferred.
