About the role

Kerry is searching for an Account Manager - Beverages to join our team, working remotely with travel around the UK & Ireland.

What Will I be doing?

  • You will manage stakeholder groups within a number of beverage customers
  • You will be focused on achievement of sales budgets and targets on an annual basis
  • You will be responsible for ensuring all price and commercial agreements are agreed with customers and aligned to Kerry strategies and fully implemented with the customer
  • You will be responsible for driving availability and customer orders as well as Kerry service levels (order fulfillment through to accounts received)
  • You will actively work with Demand Planning to ensure that the customer sales forecast is accurately reflected in the business sales forecast
  • You will create integrated plans that deliver the strategy Supporting brand execution
  • You will be accountable for customer performance, ensuring JBP is a working document bought into by all stakeholders and reflects and achieves sales, profit & brand objectives for Kerry
  • You will be responsible for expert knowledge of the customer, its competitors, and the market they operate in
  • You will be responsible for the planning and development of customer promotions
  • You will be accountable for the creation and maintenance of customer business plans (JBP’s)
  • You will be responsible for the negotiation and delivery of the targeted customer trade rate for all activities
  • You will be responsible for delivering accurate forecast working with demand planning
  • You will create market leading customer intimacy with customers by driving pro-active engagements to deliver the Beverage strategy and lead customer acquisition

What do I need to be successful?

In Kerry we understand that people have very different career trajectories and experiences. To be successful in this role, we would be looking for

  • Previous experience in a beverage B2B sales environment preferably at a senior account management level.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Drive & desire to be successful and part of a high performing team
  • Deep understanding & knowledge of the beverage industry within the UKI
  • Degree qualified (2nd degree honors min.)
  • UK based & open to extensive travel within the UK&I and also some European travel
