About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Kerry team. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a range of Treasury activity, with the possibility to develop and progress in Treasury and Finance in the world's leading taste and nutrition company,

Key responsibilities

  • Develop Treasury & Insurance capability in the Middle East & African (MEA) region.  
  • Support business transactions and provide advice to the business stakeholders in relation to Treasury and Insurance matters.  
  • Build strong banking relationships with the regional & local banks.  
  • Lead the operational banking & cash management activity for the MEA region.  
  • Ensure that the MEA region’s foreign currency risk is mitigated. With the dynamic & versatile nature of foreign currency exposure in the MEA region, the ideal candidate is expected be hands on in the foreign currency exposure management. 
  • Support the Global Insurance Renewal process and to work with our Insurance partners to support the MEA region in case of an Insurance claim.  
  • Participate in M&A activities including due diligence and integration.  
  • Participate & lead other Treasury & Insurance projects. 
  • The role will provide Treasury & Insurance exposure to the dynamic and versatile countries like South Africa, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Turkey, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda etc. 
  • Whilst prior Treasury experience is desirable, it is not essential, as training and further development opportunities will be available.   
     

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum  4-8 years’ work experience  
  • Whilst prior Treasury experience is desirable, it is not essential, as training and further development opportunities will be available.  
  • Strong financial skills in areas of Reporting and IFRS 
  • Pro-active attitude towards the business and problem solving. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • The ability to effectively lead, motivate and provide direction to others. 
  • Excellent time management skills, with an ability to prioritize and plan, and deliver results to tight deadlines. 
  • Able to take on new challenges and propose workable solutions for issues and work effectively in a multi-cultural fast paced environment. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in in Microsoft Office suite. 
  • SAP /BPC knowledge an advantage
