About the role
This role plays a key commercial role by offering culinary expertise to support the Sales Team. This person helps showcase Kerry’s unique taste solutions and technologies to customers. Working closely with RDA, Sales, and Marketing, the chef is part of the Food Service commercial team and supports customer visits and presentations. The role involves frequent travel across the Middle East.
Key responsibilities
- Combine innovative and creative ideas with exceptional kitchen capabilities to develop products that are commercially viable for both the business and the end users.
- Use enthusiasm, creativity, strong culinary skills, and commercial acumen to effectively promote the benefits and added value of each new product.
- Generate creative ideas aligned with current and future food trends, and translate them into exciting and appealing menus and food offerings.
- Be highly innovative and open to new ideas, cuisines, and concepts.
- Stay up to date with the latest food trends in the market.
- Demonstrate strong visual and sensory awareness with a keen eye for food presentation styles.
- Support the successful launch of new products, menus, or recipe dishes.
- Collaborate with global Kerry chefs when required.
- Professionally participate in and conduct product presentations for both internal and external customers.
- Ensure culinary execution aligns with the customer positioning of each new product.
- Manage multiple projects within established timelines across the Kerry business.
- Contribute to sales growth through thoughtful product selection, execution, and creative development.
- Continuously review responsibilities and performance to maintain best-in-class standards.
- Enhance Kerry’s reputation for food quality and innovation with customers.
- Participate in culinary and technology meetings as needed.

Qualifications and skills
- Preferably at least 4 years in the Food industry, specifically in food and/or ingredients manufacturing.
- Proven track record of product and/or menu development.
- Experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
- Able to present well with passion and commitment to amazing food.
- Ability to work seamlessly cross-functionally.
- Able to manage multiple briefs and manage time.
- Language proficiency in English & Arabic is preferred.
- Qualifications: City and guilds 706/1-2 or NVQ Level 2 and 3 or equivalent.
Note: This role will require travel across the Middle East region approximately 50%.
