Key responsibilities
· Adhere to all established Kerry LIFE Safety, Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, and processing policies with an eye towards Quality.
· Adhere to all LO/TO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures while performing work on equipment as required.
· Never take shortcuts or use improper tools/equipment that could compromise the safety of themselves or others.
· As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment.
· This includes, but is NOT limited to:
· Performing regular (continuous) services to our internal customers.
· Preventative maintenance procedures.
· Predictive maintenance procedures.
· Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
· Work with team members to achieve the highest efficiency.
Qualifications and skills
· 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
· Advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery.
· Proper bearing installations.
· Proper alignment techniques, (sprocket/sheave alignments, coupling alignments).
· Use of measuring tools, (tape measures, calipers, gauges).
· Reading mechanical schematics.
· Electrical knowledge of industrial machinery.
· Motor wiring skills.
· Electrical troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.
· Ability to be a team-player and great communicator.
· Median computer and report writing skills.
