About the role

As we continue to rapidly grow our Foodservice business in Europe a unique role has been created to support the acceleration of the growth of our Da Vinci Gourmet brand across Mainland Europe and play a central role in doubling the size of the brand in the next 3 years.

This role will require a high level of collaboration across all levels of the business, an obsession to exceed our customer expectations and passion for new business development in a fast-paced dynamic market.

What will you be doing?

  • Partnering with the DVG Brand team and Mainland Europe Commercial leads to deliver on the brand growth ambitions and expand into 24 new markets in the next 3 years.
  • Work in partnership with the DVG Mainland Europe team to shape our strategy for market expansion and lead the development of best-in-class distributor/importer on-boarding and activation management.
  • At pace, build a sound understanding of market trends and consumer needs to tailor our brand and concept proposition to meet the needs of our customers and their markets.
  • Build effective relationships with our customer’s marketing departments and working in partnership with our customer’s marketing teams build and execute end user targeting activations to support a ‘push pull’ model across mainland Europe.
  • Working with the DVG brand team to develop, tailor and execute our DVG marketing programmes to support mainland Europe customer activation – including existing distribution partners and new importer partners.
  • Working in partnership with the Brand team identify and develop brand building marketing opportunities per region, in line with our market expansion plans.
  • Management of all marketing collateral and the development of digital and print content for customer and industry events – in line with brand guidelines.
  • Project management of trade shows and events including customer engagements where marketing input is required.
  • Coordinate the preparation of customer meetings at our Global Technology & Innovation Centre and at customer headquarters.
  • Gathering beverage concept & market insights – to continually build our expertise as we expand into new markets.
  • Evaluate trade activation marketing programmes – to continually improve our effectiveness and return on marketing investment.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in Marketing, Business Development or related field.
  • A proven track record at delivering above market growth in a multi-market Trade Activation Marketing role.
  • Previous Trade Activation Marketing experience – with extensive experience at delivering best in class customer engagements essential.
  • Creative and activation agency management experience essential.
  • Strong commercial acumen essential.
  • Multiple European languages of benefit.
  • Experience at managing Importer and Distribution partners an advantage.
  • Experience in B2B or food ingredient industry an advantage
  • Excellent communications skills and a talent for sharing information with relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly grasp and become proficient in new concepts, ideas, technologies, markets, tools and ways of working.
  • An enthusiastic attitude towards effectively interacting with many different functions and serving as an active participant on a multi-national, multi-functional team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion, including the management of multiple stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Good capability in applying quantitative and qualitative analysis methodologies, interpreting and presenting findings in a clear, concise manner.
  • A passion for actively engaging across the business, building partnerships based on trust and integrity.

Travel across Europe will be required with this role. Home Office based.
