About the role

Where you'll work

​The Clark manufacturing facilities have 9 work centers with processing capabilities in Liquid Flavor Compounding, Dry Blending, Extractions, Distillations, Spray Dry, Emulsions, Essential Oils, Oleo Resins, Juice Blending. The site also boasts state-of-the-art analytical and sensory capabilities and we are looking to hire a Senior Quality Technician who has experience with wet chemistry working M-Friday (occassional Sat) and  First Shift (starting around 7am).

A main focus of this role is wet chemistry, (HPLC, GC) raw material, in process, finished process, sensory experience.

This is a fast paced environment with something new every day and exciting products.

You'll conduct sensory testing by tasting different flavors such as meat, peanuts, sugary, etc




Qualifications and skills

What you'll need

  • High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution is required. College Diploma or University Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or relevant science is desired
  • 1+ years of experience in food, pharmaceutical industry, or manufacturing environment is needed to understand the needs in quality
  • 1+ years of experience with west chemistry
  • Bring your taste buds for sensory testing such as meat, peanuts, sugary products, etc
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft office such as excel and outlook
