About the role

The typical hiring range for this role is $20/hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements). 

Shift: 8am to 4pm. Monday to Friday. 

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for unloading and checking incoming deliveries. Inspecting inbound materials along with sampling, labeling and staging.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
1. Inspects documents, vehicles and freight on inbound deliveries

2. Unloads inbound deliveries and fills out necessary documents.

3. Identifies and documents vendor non conformance's

4. Samples and Labels incoming materials.

5. Moves and arranges inventory as instructed for organization, stock rotation and efficiency using RF scanners.

6. Maintain GMP's and complete functions listed on the Sanitation Schedule

7. Operates forklift in a safe manner

8. Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow good safety practices as directed by safety teachings / regulations.

9. Proper handling of Allergen products and equipment according to Allergen Control Procedures

10. Responsible for conformance to Food Safety and Food Quality Plans as described in the Kerry Clark SQF Systems manual. Must report any and all deviations to a member of management and QA- and set product aside until further instructed.

11. Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and skills

Minimum Requirements:

High School or equivalent diploma. Must be able to operate forklifts and other equipment integral to the job functions. Some basic computer / RF skills. Basic math skills, capable of reading and writing in English. Knowledge of hazardous material regulations
Must have good communication skills both verbal and written.


Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and move up to 450 pounds. Must be able to see and distinguish between labels. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk through the warehouse.


Working Environment:

Factory environment with exposure to flavor, and basic product chemicals and raw materials.
