What would you do?

Planning, organizing and coordinating production schedules in a manner that meets customer expectations and within accepted lead time intervals. Efficiently utilizing all production resources to improve yields and reduce time due to cleaning/changeovers.

1. Review daily shortage report and develop a master production schedule that satisfies customer service expectations while reducing repeat productions and unnecessary cleanings.

2. Maintains all system dates relative to production.

3. Review material availability and create, release and schedule production based on customer needs and material availability.

4. Optimize inventory by making the most efficient use of partial lots (raw materials and finished goods) and/or not yet expired lots. Interacts’ with Purchasing when inbound raw material delays occur.

5. Keeps Customer Service informed of any changes to the schedule.

6. Interacts with QC regarding production problems that result in rejections or conditional material.

7. Work with QC to identify blend back rate and coordinate the utilization of distressed finished goods and raw materials within QC guidelines.

8. Review inventory status and stock at risk daily.

9. Make recommendations related to raw material data (lead times/reorder points) in accordance with Kerry’s goals for inventory investment levels.

10. Review master data in ERP system.

11. Other duties assigned by manager.

What would you need to be successful?

 

1. Must be proficient in automated systems and PC’s, SAP experience preferred.

2. Must have a minimum of 1-3 years planning or related business experience.

3. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

4. Must possess analytical, organizational, and problem-solving aptitudes.

5. Must demonstrate ability to multi-task.

6. Must have bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
