Kerry in Clark, NJ is part of the Taste division. The Clark manufacturing facilities have 9 work centers with processing capabilities in Liquid Flavor Compounding, Dry Blending, Extractions, Distillations, Spray Dry, Emulsions, Essential Oils, Oleo Resins, Juice Blending.  As a team, we treat each other with respect and support each other to produce food ingredients which we are proud to see on shelves in-stores. What you'll do:


The Kerry Maintenance Apprentice Program is a two (2) year program where you will work with an experienced maintenance team learning the intricacies of industrial food manufacturing.  Apprentices will gain experience in automation, electrical and mechanical areas of maintenance while participating in an accredited college program in engineering technology.


The Maintenance Team is responsible for:


  • Building repairs, equipment maintenance and installation for the facility
  • Maintaining inventory of supplies needed
  • Following preventative maintenance programs for important areas of operations such as trucks, motors, pumps, mixers, High Density Lubrication, lifts, Boiler Maintenance, etc.
  • Working independently and with other team member to complete repairs in a timely fashion.
  • Ensuring compliance with governmental safety and environmental regulations through 5S and Good Manufacturing procedures.
  • Handle allergen products and equipment according to Allergen Control Procedures
  • Responsible for conformance to Food Safety and Food Quality Plans as described in the Kerry protocols
  • Other duties assigned by Management
