Where you'll work:

At our Clark, NJ facility, we are part of the Taste division. The Clark manufacturing facilities have 9 work centers with processing capabilities in Liquid Flavor Compounding, Dry Blending, Extractions, Distillations, Spray Dry, Emulsions, Essential Oils, Oleo Resins, Juice Blending.  As a team, we are proud to see our products on shelves in-stores. What you'll do:

Employees selected for these roles will participate in the Clark Apprenticeship Program and commit to applicable guidelines. 

The Kerry Apprenticeship Program is a two (2) year program where you will work on a maintenance team learning the intricacies of industrial food manufacturing.  Apprentices will gain experience in automation, electrical and mechanical areas of maintenance while participating in an accredited college program in engineering technology.

The Program:

  • 2-years of tuition at an accredited college 100% paid
  • Full-time paid employment in the maintenance field
  • Available career paths at Kerry upon completion of the program


Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for all building repairs, equipment maintenance and installation for the facility
  2. Maintain inventory of supplies needed
  3. Follow preventative maintenance programs for important areas of operations such as trucks, motors, pumps, mixers, High Density Lubrication, lifts, Boiler Maintenance, etc.
  4. Work independently and with other team member to complete repairs in a timely fashion.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations through 5S and Good Manufacturing procedures.
  6. Hand allergen products and equipment according to Allergen Control Procedures
  7. Responsible for conformance to Food Safety and Food Quality Plans as described in the Kerry protocols
  8. Other duties assigned by Management
  9. Work within the defined parameters of the Apprenticeship Program.
