About the role


We have an exciting opportunity for an Transport Administrator to join the Kerry team in Charleville

Key responsibilities


  • Daily reconciliation of milk collected on computer system
  • Liaise with Milk Haulers re Collection of Milk
  • All administration work in relation to milk collection and transport
  • Process Accounts information such as Goods Received Notifications (GRN’s) of all Transport invoices
  • Carry out all Month End Duties for the transport department
  • Ensure operation of transport department is carried out effectively


  • Resolve issues in relation to milk collection and distribution
  • Deal with all phone queries from suppliers, distributors and processors
  • Liaise with transport manager to ensure operation runs smoothly.
  • Deal with any mechanical issues with haulers and garage to find the best solution to ensure limited down time.
  • Day to Day Weighbridge duties

Qualifications and skills


  • Good Office Administration Experience
  • Experience in analysis of data and reporting
  • Computer literacy is essential in Word & Excel
  • Working knowledge of Oracle would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Dairy Industry would be an advantage
  • Some mechanical Knowledge would be an advantage
  • This role will involve seasonal weekend work between March & September
  • Excellent Telephone Skills
