Kerry Business Service Centre (KBSC) is based in Charleville, Co Cork and manages the financial processes for Kerry EMEA. The Centre has grown to become highly efficient and consistent in delivering financial end to end process optimisation for sites across Europe. Our multilingual and customer focused employees concentrate on supplying cost effective, compliant and value add services to ensure sustainable growth for Kerry. Here in KBS (Kerry Business Services), we work alongside our site colleagues to support the following services; Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Site Support, MDM, Finance and Inter-Company invoice processing.

 

The successful candidate will be working with the EMEA Indirect Tax Team based in Kerry Business Services Centre in Charleville and will report to the EMEA Indirect Tax Compliance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare to review stage periodic indirect tax returns and VAT GL account reconciliations from SAP.
  • Prepare associated statistical returns e.g. Intrastat, ES(P)L and similar.
  • Deal with VAT queries/workflows from the business under the guidance of the EMEA VAT Compliance manager.
  • Produce / update process documentation. 

Your Profile:

 

 

  • Prior experience with EMEA VAT compliance desirable. The successful candidate will leverage on prior experience to offer a constructive, pro-active approach for the various challenges that can be associated with EMEA VAT compliance in a changing business environment.
  • SAP systems knowledge an advantage, experience with other ERP systems will be considered.  
  • Excel experience, including V-look ups and pivot tables.  
  • Strong numeracy, organised work methodology and ability to work to deadlines essential.
  • You must be team player but capable of working independently on defined projects.
  • Able to identify opportunities to improve processes and use initiative to problem solve in a continuous excellence environment.
  • Good communication skills, an ability to converse with all levels and nationalities.
