About the role

Remote / Home based – travel up to 70%.  Prefer close to major airport hub.  Territory will be Western US and can include:  CA, NE, AZ, ID, CO, UT, WA.

This is a dynamic role for someone who is seeking to grow their sales experience in a global organization focused on inspiring food and nourishing life. Fleischmann’s Vinegar is part of Kerry, Inc., which is the world leader in taste and nutrition.


The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the development and performance of all Fleischmann's Vinegars sales activities in an assigned market.  Responsible for the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.  Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the assigned territory.  Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements for customers.

Key responsibilities

Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.  Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.

  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales and activity reports.
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Participates actively in all short / long term planning exercises.
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly reports on sales activities in region.
Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years sales experience in the Food / Beverage Industry, calling into manufacturers
  • Must be able to travel up to 70%. 
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales performance
