Where you'll work:


Our Calhoun, GA location is part of our Meat division and uses unique proprietary technology developed by Kerry to create breading and coating blends for our customers and products. We're excited to install two additional lines in 2020, contributing to the growth of our business and future! 

What you'll do:


Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality for product. Inspects product to verify production requirements are met and make changes if necessary. Effectively manages and assigns labor to complete production schedules as efficiently as possible. Directly supervises employees in all work centers. Documents time on Kronos, Coaches and teaches employees on all aspects of their jobs including GMPs, work documentation and safety. Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.  Enforces company policies and procedures and enforces safety regulations and good manufacturing practices. Maintains time and production records. Writes standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production line or policies and procedures.  Computes amount of stock and supplies required for operations, based on production schedules, and requisitions materials from storage area. Writes work orders as necessary. Conduct pre-scale up meetings with R&D and production workers.  Analyzes and resolves problems, or assists employees in solving work problems.  Estimates, requisitions, and inspects incoming materials.  Performance Evaluation.
Addressing customer complaints and resolving problems. Planning, assigning, and directing work. Training Employees.  Any other duties as assignment by room lead or supervisor

What you'll need to be successful:


Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rates on production lines.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions both written and orally.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in different situations
