About the role
As a Senior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and managing our market leading Foodservice Channel. Focusing on the Egyptian market with the ambition to expand into wider North Africa market . You will work with the Head of Marketing and the Country Commercial Manager to develop and execute a localized food service plan for the brand. You will own the brand plan for the market and implement the brand positioning and marketing strategy in the market. Central activities of the role include brand activations in the market, launching new SKU’s to the local portfolio, gathering customer and consumer insights, preparing presentations, and working on key projects. The role will focus on, but not limited to, the Chef’s Palette and/or our Da Vinci Gourmet brand. This key brand is a key driver of growth, and the role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Drive Profitable Growth: Use the Brand Marketing Budget to deliver profitable growth and financial performance within the channel and region.
- Brand and Customer Marketing Activities: Design and run localised brand marketing activities, including marketing activations, tradeshows, customer engagements and product launches.
- Commercial Support: Work collaboratively with the Country Commercial team, supporting them with relevant marketing and promotional activities.
- Event Management: Select and manage key brand events, local activations and customer engagements.
- Management of Brand Guidelines and Practices: Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and standards
- Content Localization: Tailor content from regional teams to ensure local relevance.
- Market Analysis: Identify local trends and consumer needs to provide insightful and impactful strategic recommendations.
- Success Stories: Build and communicate new wins and success stories
- Budget Management: Manage the brand marketing budget to drive the business and achieve KPI’s
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Sales, Business Development, and R&D teams to drive impactful and successful engagement with key customers.
Qualifications and skills
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with around 3-8 years of experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in both English and Arabic.
- B2B marketing experience, preferably in the food, beverage, ingredients, or adjacent industries would be an advantage
- Project Management: Effectively leads initiatives, managing multiple projects, deadlines, and internal & external stakeholders.
- Proactive and Results-Driven: Demonstrates a proactive approach and a results-driven mindset.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability in applying quantitative and qualitative analysis methodologies, interpreting and presenting findings clearly and concisely, including the creation and use of tables, charts, and graphics.
- Team Collaboration: Works collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Positive Attitude: Demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude, independence and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Flexibility to travel
