What You'll Do:
The Maintenance Technician initiates and participates in the implementation of new processes or process improvements by troubleshooting and problem solving in a complex, highly automated manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for the maintenance of high-speed manufacturing equipment to maximize the operation of production equipment.
- Routinely and proactively inspect production equipment.
- Perform emergency maintenance on equipment as needed to minimize downtime and maximize safety.
- Interpret and work from manuals, wiring diagrams and PLC logic printouts to evaluate, analyze, and resolve operational problems.
- Participate in collaboration with manufacturing associates to identify and correct problems which detract from the operations goal of zero production downtime.
- Apply knowledge of the standard practices, tools, equipment and materials to service and maintain equipment in a high-speed production environment.
- Complete and close work orders in the computerized maintenance management system on a timely basis.
- Participate in the Eye for Safety program.
- Complete any outside training courses as deemed necessary by the manager in the agreed time period.
This is a Night Shift, Scheduled 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Your Flexibility to Work Weekends and Overtime Hours is Required.

What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Associate degree or certification in a technical area or State approved training is preferred.
- 2+ Yrs. Industrial Maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, chemical or food processing required.
- Experience troubleshooting, repair & wiring Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs and VFD's
- Industrial hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance experience is a plus.
- Ability to use PC's for diagnostics and repair preferred.
- MS Product use, especially Word & Excel. Prior SAP experience helpful.
- Must be flexible and have the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
