About the role

Job Purpose:  The Reliability Engineer reviews machine reliability and measures and improves MTBF and MTTR. The Reliability Engineer will review and improve upon Preventive Maintenance Work Instructions and support Maintenance and operations continuous improvement efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Reliability Analysis.
  • Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis.
  • Review and improve Preventive work instructions and frequency.
  • Support the introduction and expansion of predictive maintenance.
  • Measure and evaluate Mean Time Before Failure and Mean Time to Repair.
  • Support Capital Projects with documentation.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other technical degree.
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, and present technical information using practical judgment
  • Capable of functioning effectively in a team environment and work independently to progress initiatives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills in group settings as well as one-on-one
  • Knowledge of data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis
  • Proficient conducting data analysis and using data analysis software applications
  • Knowledge of standard quality and reliability tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), Weibull Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistics.

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $73,758 to $108,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
