What You'll Do:

 

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for assurance that blended product and finished goods meet or exceed quality standards established by the company and Kerry customers. The Technician samples and performs a variety of tests and inspections, tests samples of raw and finished products ensures that materials comply with both government regulations and customer specifications. All data points are to be collected and entered in computer systems, primarily SAP. The role of QA technician requires sound judgement to make rational decisions pertaining to recommended adjustments, corrective actions, and disposition of goods. Success in this position requires fast paced performance in a team environment and interpersonal skills.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • College diploma and/or 2 years of related experience
  • At least 1 yr. of manufacturing experience, QA role preferred
  • Ability to read, understand and follow laboratory, sensory and physical testing protocols and methods.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment which may include working in a wet, loud hot and/or dusty environment
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
