Our Byesville, OH, USA plant is an integral part of our Beverage division, dedicated to processing and packaging fruit-based juice mixes, syrups, extracts, and other similar liquid ingredients. What You'll Do:

 

The Lead Process Operator is typically promoted from with and becomes is responsible for preparing and mixing batches according to the customers’ instructions. This position is also responsible for sterilizing raw product using the processing unit and ensuring the sterility of the product to and from the filler. The process operator must be able to operate all processing equipment. The Lead Process Operator is to assist and help problem solve/ escalate any issues which occur inside the blend areas.


Daily Activities include:

 

  • Mix and blend batches according to customer formulas, verifying each ingredient and
  • amount that has been added to the batch.
  • Record all data correctly to the batch sheet.
  • Verify ingredient lot numbers and quantities prior to their use.
  • Continuously monitor all process controls and documentation, signing charts and recording processor parameters every hour to ensure a quality product meets customer standards and
  • taking immediate action on any out-of-spec condition.
  • Monitor the system for any issues that may affect sterility, such as leaks or bad clamps, and report immediately to the Maintenance Department or the Production Supervisor any
  • mechanical issues that may impact the performance of the processor.
  • Routinely clean the processor, blend room, walls, sink, platform, tanks, doors and all associated piping.
     

What You'll Need to Succeed:

 

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Basic math skills, ability to calculate percentages accurately.
  • Complete requirements of Certified Processor:
    • Achieve competency in operating and cleaning 3 systems
    • Must follow and comply with GMPs and Food Safety policies
    • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills
    • Ability to train others
    • Dependable (less than 2.5 points)
  • 6 mo. Prior lift truck operation and safety certification.
  • Use of MS products required, SAP software preferred.

The typical hiring range for this role is $23.62 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
