About the role

The  Equipment Launch Leader  will play a critical role in overseeing the installation of new equipment, ensuring that project timelines, deliverables, and start-up timing are met. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency. The Equipment Launch Leader will be responsible for driving a forward-looking manufacturing excellence program and delivering flawless execution for our customers through focusing on our balanced scorecard performance across Safety, Quality, Service, Cost & Sustainability.  Please note that this will be a fixed term position for the duration of the project in Byesville, OH.

Key responsibilities

 

 

 

•  Lead the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

•  Develop and execute a detailed project plan for equipment installation, including resource allocation, risk management, and contingency planning.

•  Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance teams, and installation contractors to ensure smooth start-up and integration of new equipment.

•  Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly to keep the project on track.

•  Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards during equipment installation and start-up.

•  Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and pride across the installation team, ensuring high engagement and performance.

•  Partner with commercial and supply chain teams to align equipment installation with business growth plans and customer requirements.

•  Leverage industry best practices and technological advancements to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.

•  Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance installation processes and reduce downtime.

•  Maintain strong relationships with equipment suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and support.

 

Qualifications and skills

BS in Engineering or equivalent

5 plus year's experience overseeing CapEx projects in Food Manufacturing
