What is the Role

The Blender Operator will properly mix ingredients to create each batch of syrup or sauce.  Duties include:  retrieving raw materials from storage, weighing out and mix raw ingredients, transferring product from batching to storage tanks, and ensuring safety and quality guidelines are met.

What You'll Do:

  1. Assist in ensuring production needs are met and lines are running at optimum efficiency
  2. Coach, mentor, assess, and assist processor operators.
  3. Work with Processor Operator trainer and supervisor to develop training plans for team members.
  4. Act as communication link between team members and supervisor.
  5. Manage relationships with internal support groups and with external resources.
  6. Identify and eliminate safety hazards; monitor team member safety practices and adherence to policies.
  7. Delegate to the team responsibility and resources needed to meet production goals (empower team members).
  8. Communicate with employee’s Evaluate team member performance and progress, and communicate that performance and progress to the supervisor.
  9. Advise team members on technical problem resolution.
  10. Lead basic day to day problem solving efforts.
  11. Perform relief duties and fill in for team members when needed.
  12. Lead process improvement efforts.
  13. All other duties as required.

  2. Minimum 3 years production experience required.
