We’re looking to recruit a Trade Preference/Customs Analyst to join our team in Bristol! This person will be responsible for day-to-day administration of trade preference within the international trade department, relying upon our SAP GTS system.

Although the base for this role is Bristol, we are open to applicants across the UK who are happy to work remotely with limited travel to the office when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Running and analysing the weekly preference calculation to understand any changes that have occurred and resolve any resulting issues
  • Administering Long Term Supplier Declarations from vendors
  • Issuing and maintaining Long Term Supplier Declarations for customers
  • Assigning additional conditions to Materials
  • Managing the upload of new trade data from our content providers
  • Where applicable, determining manual trade preference when the automated system is not available.

Qualifications:

  • Experience of working in international trade, especially in relation to

Preferential Origin, Free Trade Agreements, Tariff Classification, Customs Valuation

  • Advanced Excel knowledge including VBA programming desirable
  • Experience of working with SAP, and especially SAP GTS desirable
