About the role
Are you passionate about precision and process improvement? Kerry Dairy Ireland is seeking a Stock Controller for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover position. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of Finished Goods stock across all locations in SAP, track and monitor stock movement compliance, and proactively identify and resolve discrepancies by engaging key stakeholders. You'll also play a crucial role in the development and standardisation of stock control activities, helping to refine and enhance our processes.
This role can be based from home anywhere in the UK or Ireland, but there is also an option to based out of one of our KDI sites if preferred.
What will I be doing?
- Check the status of all deliveries in SAP inbound and outbound
- Management to clear any IDOCS with root cause analyse and corrective actions.
- Complete daily stock reconciliation across 3PL and SAP systems
- Review and investigate quantity and QC status discrepancies
- Resolve discrepancies to maintain stock integrity
- Report and review all intake non-conformances (qualitative & quantitative)
- Coordinate stock disposals with the warehouse (physical and system)
- Carry out stock enquiries as requested by sites
- Supervise full stock counts as required
- Ensure Perpetual Inventory counts, including Empty Bin Checks, meet annual targets
- Provide stock reports to sites as needed
- Identify and challenge slow-moving or redundant stock
- Highlight stock at risk due to shelf life and explore allocation or dispensation opportunities with demand planning
- Support Supply Chain continuous improvement initiatives
What do I need to be successful?

These include:
- Minimum of 1 years’ stock control experience or similar role
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficient written, analytical, numerical, and verbal skills
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritise workload and areas of focus based on impact assessment
- Demonstrated experience in managing stocks
- SAP experience would be highly desirable
