About the role


We are hiring Hygiene Operatives on a permanent contract with flexible shift patterns. 


Our Portbury team is expanding in response to new product lines, increased volumes, and investment. We now have new permanent opportunities on site hygiene operatives.


Our site is a purpose-built factory at Royal Portbury Dock, where we manufacture approx. 36,000 tons of dry powder blends/flavourings for several well-known brands.


In this role you will be responsible for adhering to the daily, weekly and ad hoc cleaning schedules, you will work closely will the Hygiene manager, colleagues and production teams to ensure the production areas are cleaned to the required standards in-line with company cleaning procedures. You will also be responsible for stock control of chemicals, consumables, and equipment.

Qualifications and skills


You will need excellent communication skills & be able to work on your own as well as part of a team. You will need to be physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting and manual handling involved in the role.


Previous experience in a hygiene role, or food manufacturing site would be an advantage, but full training will be given to successful candidates.
