About the role

To support quality improvement and processes in the Dry Production Lines

Key responsibilities

  • Investigation of customer complaints and completion of response to customer.
  • Internal investigation of non-conformances and subsequent close out.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Participation in traceability activities.
  • Complete Glass and Brittle Plastics audits as per schedule.
  • Complete GMP audits as per schedule and follow up on actions.
  • Calibration of equipment such as thermometers, scales, and other analytical instruments.
  • Allergen and ATP swabbing activities.
  • Review of analytical data, ensuring all documents have been completed correctly.
  • Trend analysis of results to ensure consistent process control.
  • Ensuring all computer tasks are completed in time.
  • Generating reports as required.
  • Any other tasks as requested by quality manager.

Qualifications and skills

  • Ideally, a BSc. degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven problem-solving skills in a factory setting.
  • Methodical, well-organized, energetic, with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the food industry.
  • Familiarity with product certification programs like Kosher and Halal.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capable of driving continuous improvement and managing change initiatives.
  • Knowledge of GFSI and GMP systems.
  • Experience with SAP is an advantage.
