Reporting To:          RD&A Manager Savoury EUM & Culinary

Key responsibilities


•    Responsible for supporting the development of new products and applications for Kerry’s customer base across ANZ.
•    Working closely with the Research, Development and Applications teams supporting key customer projects through culinary advice and technical support.
•    Development gold standard recipes based on pro-active innovation and customer briefs.
•    Facilitate product evaluations and assisting scientists with flavour profiling of products, during the development process.
•    Delivery of leading insightful customer product presentations and customer cook ups - detailing recipes, manufacturing and/or commercial method, whilst demonstrating a passion for food.
•    Proven awareness of market, consumer and restaurant trends and competitor activity, applying this knowledge during the development phase.
•    Develop a full understanding of the Kerry portfolio and business capability, and delivery, to support new customer concepts.
•    Effectively use enthusiasm, creativity, strong culinary skills and commercial acumen to actively sell the benefits and added value for each concept developed.
•    Manage and oversee the organisation of the culinary innovation kitchen, presentation suite and ensure that our customers both internal and external are greeted with a professional presentation environment.


Qualifications and skills


•    Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Chef in Hotel /High-End Restaurants, or in similar Development Chef role in Food Manufacturing companies.
•    Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills 
•    Excellent Foodservice and Retail knowledge, is required 
•    An Accredited Culinary Arts Certification, or Appropriate Food Hygiene Certification, will be an added bonus.
