About the role

​​​​​​We now have a TSM role available covering the Dach region. 

Key points include:

  • Grow the Food Protection business significantly in the Meat EUM market.
  • Generating a strong project pipeline to meet the financial targets as set.
  • Actively seeking new business opportunities at customers and executing on them
  • Owning the projects from the initial introduction till execution
  • Work with Business development to translate the opportunity space into actionable business plans that will achieve significant value creation for Kerry and the customer.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure solutions are brought to the market (Initiate training / launch plans/visit customers etc.)
  • Corporates with the account/sales managers and makes sure there is alignment on the customer selection and wow’s.
  • Gain a deep level of understanding of customers objectives and strategies to identify new opportunity spaces
  • Responsible for driving and executing projects at customer level.
  • Being the technical product expert, advising customers on the best Kerry solutions
  • Using the full Kerry relevant portfolio and running lab and production trials in house and at customers.
  • Building up customer relations by the selected accounts at the appropriate levels.
  • Makes sure that Kerry, disposes about enough bottom up market, product information to allow appropriate developments covering the market requirements.
  • Collect relevant competition information to allow to position the solutions right in the market.
  • Responsible for the size of pipeline at target customers, ensuring pipeline is sufficient to achieve our financial goals
  • Building up a strong internal network making sure other technologies and services are supporting the projects.
  • Works via the standard ICT systems of Kerry and keep them updated there where relevant.
  • Reports back in a structured manner to the management

Qualifications and skills

  • University degree in Food Science or Microbiology
  • Proven practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role with proven track record of success with external customers
  • Strong demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong ability to articulate key benefits and how to apply in the customer’s process
  • Experienced in meat technology with a science background
  • Experience in organizing events and training sessions.
  • Specific experience with ingredients that preserve and protect food is desirable
  • Good working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
