About the role
Our Regulatory & Scientific Affairs (RSA) function drives commercial value and competitive advantage through global & strategic thought leadership and regulatory expertise. Located in 9 locations across the globe and over 150 regulatory scientists, the RSA function enables business through novel regulatory strategies and claims substantiation. They boast a superior compliance record and service excellence to our customers through Reg2Reg interactions, onsite visits, legislative & regulatory trends presentations, and speed of technical documentation delivery.
Organizationally, RSA and RDA report together in Kerry’s Chief Technology Office function to promote world-class innovation. There are three core competencies for the RSA function: external though leadership and engagement, internal business enablement, and the customer experience. Within the region of North America, the Vice President’s organization includes Director level reports that lead either centers of excellence, End Use Market (EUM) business regulatory teams, or Subject Matter Experts.
The regulatory scientist serves and assists as a regulatory and technical compliance consultant for Kerry’s EUM and subEUM business by helping to interpret and evaluate regulations, industry standards and customer requirements. This position assists in driving customer and business solutions in support of commercialization and related processes; assists in completing the execution of compliance work; and help lead EUM or SEUM manager and team to successful delivery of outcomes.

Qualifications and skills
- Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nutrition, or other related science discipline or 3-6 years experience (education & work combined) in a similar regulatory role
- Excellent communication skill, both written and verbal including ability to partner with leaders to prepare executive business presentations, communicate strategies, and briefings for Regulatory and other business partners.
- Team player, collaborative and positive, with a strong customer service and business mindset; exceptional time management and organizational skills, self-starter with a high level of detail, initiative, assertiveness, and adaptability
- Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, as well as understanding of basic project management principles.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and ability to travel as required
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- On-Site role in Beloit, WI.
- Hybrid work is acceptable for this role, with some days spent in the office, and some working remotely.
- Estimated 15% travel may be required to external conferences or the U.S. headquarters as requested.
