About the role

At the Kerry Center in Beloit, we are a leader in taste and nutrition for the global food, beverage and pharmaceutical industry.  We have approximately 700 employees at this location that perform various task such as finance, procurement, supply chain and customer care.  This location is commutable from major cities such as Milwaukee and Madison. If you’re looking to build a career in finance with a team you can have some fun with, we might be the team for you.

Key responsibilities

The Senior Financial Analyst is extremely important to our team.  We will rely on you to understand market trends, pricing trends and provide recommendation that will lead to profitable growth.  As a team player, you’ll support the sales/marketing with analysis to determine customer retention, business risk, new business and lost business.  You’ll evaluate customer incentive plans such as rebates and trade promotions at the beginning stages and as they have been implemented.  As a team member, understanding cost drivers and the impact to the business is critical to our success.  As a business partner, they will rely on you to analyze KPI’s, understanding the growth areas and potential issues.  As a team member you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders in the organization to establish KPI targets and provide variances as well.  In this position you’ll be a true partner to the business!

Qualifications and skills

There are a few requirements you’ll need to be successful in this job:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required
  • Do you have experience in Accounting?  We prefer 3 -5 years of experience in commercial finance or operational finance
  • Do you have time management skills? We will reply on you to manage multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
  • Do you know the value of a great team? Teamwork is one of our values and critical to everyone’s success
  • Do you have experience in manufacturing? We’d like you to come in with a solid understanding of cost and inventory.  This will help you be successful more quickly in this role.
