Kerry is one of the world's leading taste and nutrition companies for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries and we are hiring a Sr. Finance Manager to support our growing business. You will be based remotely in close proximity to either Rochester, Minnesota or Beloit Wisconsin, and will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver financial support and insight for the site including site costs, capital, inventory revenue & margin analysis. You will bring operations and commercial experience, and be able to collaborate with senior stakeholders on investment opportunities, including informing on relevant decisions and supporting the development of the business case.
About the role
Key responsibilities:
- Reporting on end-to-end site performance including:
- Monthly site P&L review vs PY, vs Budget with insightful commentary & proposed actions to improve performance.
- Margin analysis – address profitability issues on SKU’s
- Play a lead role in developing strategies to increase profitability of the business.
- Identify and drive Continuous Improvement opportunities to increase margin and boost profitability of the business.
- Partner with Product Line Managers and functional Line Managers to bring clarity and transparency on the financial impact of decisions.
- Develop pricing strategies in partnership with product management.
- Lead the annual budget for the business, including oversight on site costs in partnership with the site controller & plant manager, product line margin expectations, volume expectations in partnership with sales team’s finance partners.
- Ad hoc financial and commercial analysis presented in clear concise and insightful manner for business decision making with leadership team.
- Support executive and leadership meeting agendas (e.g. Quarterly Exec meetings, Monthly management meetings) including presentation material, analyses, and support.
- On-going margin analysis, root cause categorization, opportunity identification & implementation of corrective actions to optimize margin & mitigate risk.
Key Experience:
Required Experience:
- 5-8 years in industry with a mix of operational and commercial finance and a strong advantage CPA/Chartered Accountant will be preferred
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Finance, Business or related field
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build and present scenarios, fact-based analysis to support decision making
- Has experience in Business Financial modelling
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- Analytical and numerate with a strong attention to detail.
- Ambition to advance within the organization to a senior finance role.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships – e.g. Sales Team, Integrated operations and senior management team.
About Kerry
The typical hiring range for this role is $120k - $168k annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
