What You'll Need

Our Beloit, WI location is home to our Corporate Headquarters for the North American Region. This location has approximately

700 employees at this location that in roles such as regulatory, RD&A, finance, procurement, supply chain and customer care. It is easily commutable from the Rockford, Madison, and Milwaukee areas. What You'll Do

The Manager – Global Networks is responsible for leading the engineering and operations functions of the Kerry Global Network team. This position is responsible for developing the network architecture and for leading the engineering and operations of the global network across all regions and sites. This position will focus on the management of all network connectivity based services, including LANs, WANs, WiFi, Data Center, VoIP, VPNs, Internet access, third-party access, firewalls, and associated reporting and monitoring systems. This position directly manages Kerry personnel in sites located throughout the company, contractors and associated vendors.

What You'll Need

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years working in a team oriented IT environment designing and supporting enterprise networks, TCP/IP network design.
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage numerous projects and activities simultaneously, insuring the correct priorities are assigned and initiatives are completed within resource constraints.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cisco IOS and NX-OS.
  • Understanding of Cisco best practice architectures and design principles.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and operating highly available network architectures.
  • Expert level understanding converged network designs that include multi-layer Quality of Service (QoS) and WAN optimization.
  • Expert level understanding of WAN/LAN technologies.
  • Working knowledge of wireless technologies utilizing controller-based systems and authentication protocols.
  • Expert level understanding of public and private IP addressing best practices designs and implications.
  • Understanding of various network security best practices, protocols and implementations.
  • Demonstrated exposure to operating an Internet-facing network environment and implications of various designs.
  • Demonstrated skills in business case development for proposed technology changes.
  • Proven ability to work with both highly technical and business oriented resources and to work in a matrixed, team-based environment.
  • Excellent customer service attitude and skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to deadlines and details
  • Ability to self-manage and report on projects and initiatives.
  • Self-motivated and able to multitask under tight schedules.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong written, verbal and facilitation skills.
  • Strong documentation skills, as well as version management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing others with demonstrated ability to skillfully hire, develop, lead, motivate, and manage performance.
  • Must be an experienced leader with enterprise network service delivery experience.
  • Significant experience in Network Architecture Development and Design, Capacity Management, Defining Operating Standards, and Network Performance Monitoring.
  • Ability to remain effective with limited direction.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with IP Telephony/VoIP systems (e.g. Microsoft Skype EV, Cisco Call Manager) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with common management and reporting tools such as NetQos or Solarwinds a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and WindowsServer a plus.
  • Understanding of enterprise DNS and DHCP a plus.
  • Understanding of VMWare networking a plus.
  • Cisco CCNP and/or CCDP Certification a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or combination of equivalent education and work experience.
