At the Kerry Center in Beloit, we are a leader in taste and nutrition for the global food, beverage and pharmaceutical industry.  We have approximately 700 employees at this location that perform various task such as finance, procurement, supply chain and customer care.  This location is commutable from major cities such as Milwaukee and Madison. What you'll do

The Food Brand Manager responsibilities will span across advertising, new product development, packaging, and trade promotions specific to a category leading coatings brand and a new brand in the high-growth, plant-based meat protein category.  You’ll work with cross-functional teams of colleagues from sales, operations, research & development, and commercial finance. You’ll build and execute plans to deliver on annual and longer-term financial goals, all while managing the day-to-day needs of the business.


We will count on uou to bring the brand plan to life for distributors/operators/end use market/consumers, you will collaborate with peer channel marketing leads and sales partners to drive brand growth.  Lead brand strategy & key initiatives to achieve revenue, margin and market share objectives.  Develop communication strategies by brand and by product categories that effectively showcase brand leadership to and enhance brand equity with customers.

  • Establish and maintain consistent marketing messaging across customer touchpoints, including websites, social media, packaging, selling tools, PR, and advertising.
  • Implement tracking of communication and promotional initiatives. This also includes the use of marketing analytics, including web analytics and ROI analysis.
  • Perform in-depth analysis and reporting of multi-channel marketing and promotional campaigns and programs to optimize their performance. Work to optimize programs for accelerated revenue growth and increased profitability based on P&L value drivers
  • Conduct operator and consumer market research at the direction of Marketing Director to monitor/understand changing market conditions, operator and consumer need states, etc. to develop best-in-class marketing programs and innovative products.
  • Work closely with Marketing Services, Digital Marketing, Customer Care, Sales and Agency Partners to develop, support, and manage the integration of marketing promotions, merchandising and trade show initiatives to drive product and brand growth.
There are some things you'll need to be successful in this role

Demonstrated marketing experience in a foodservice product and branded environment

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field
  • 5 years of experience with Brand management in multi-channel marketing with a minimum of 3 years in the foodservice channel – will consider solid retail brand marketing – new product development. 
  • Travel: Some travel will be required (10-25%)
  • Analytics – ability to leverage the power of data
  • PowerPoint - development and design
