About the role

The role is responsible to assist materials planning, adhoc reports, fulfilment to internal and external compliance, and admin works both supply chain and customer care.

Reporting to:   Planning Manager, Kerry Batangas

Key responsibilities

  • In conjunction with business systems, reports and production schedules, ensure the timely arrival / placement / confirmation of all material requirements from both external vendors and intercompany sites.
  • Raise Purchase Orders for inbound requirements based on MRP analysis and production schedule, to ensure on time and in full deliveries for all customers.
  • Interact with supply/production planners, vendors and buyers on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding to materials deliveries.
  • Maintain and review raw material stock levels with view to maximise cash flow and meet agreed targets.
  • Weekly generation of MRP reports to analyze materials availability/shortages.
  • Highlight raw materials and vendors issues that may potentially result to shortages and stock-outs.  Work with the team on the resolution of any stock out issues to avoid compromising production and/or customer delivery deadlines. Work with technical teams to develop action plans for slow moving stocks to reduce stock write-offs
  • Monthly evaluation of vendors’ in terms of on time and in full (OTIF) performance.  Highlight to buyers delay/availability issue for resolution.
  • Support and participate in the commercialisation process through to launch of all new products introduced into the Philippines market.
  • Maintain delivery dates in compliance to Internal and External Vendor OTIF including fulfillment of failure reason for failed delivery.
  • Support admin works supporting encoding customer orders to SAP.
  • Maintain import monitoring file for data maintenance required by Compliance.
  • Ensure imports from countries with Free Trade Agreement is taken into account such as availment of zero duty by requiring vendors including intercompany sites to provide applicable certificate of origin.
  • Manage all billing and invoice requirements, ensure information on vendor invoice is accurate, resolve any invoice disputes and assist in any AP queries or issues
  • Analyse data to maintain cost efficient process.
  • Ensure Compliance requirements in terms of documents compilation and data reporting relevant to Tax & Customs audit.
  • S&OP process and necessary actions as assigned.
  • Support to HSE and Food Safety audits.

Qualifications and skills

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in planning roles in Supply Chain function, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Good command of English
  • Good working knowledge of ERP and MS Office application skills. SAP experience is highly advantageous
