About the role

The primary role of People Services Lead is to oversee the whole spectrum of administration, facilities and people engagement wide as well as managing employee expectations..

Key responsibilities

The People Services Lead will support the goals and programs established by the management team to continually improve and developing employees towards knowledge worker. Included in the roles and responsibilities of the People Services Lead are:
  
Leadership

  • Lead and develop the People Services team.
  • Ensure efficiency of support in employee services.
  • Timely report budget and spent to ops leaders.
  • Escalate when there is issues and act as advisor to business leaders with regards to employees services.

 

Site Services

  • Ensure meeting manpower needs (non wired) to support operation
  • Ensure efficiency of services with regards to Front desk, dispatch, parcel/correspondence, Office supplies and pantry
  • Timely report budget and spent to ops leaders
  • Ensure well execution of learning activities

 

Compliance Services

  • Ensure compliance for legality of workforce In meeting ethical standard
  • All business related licenses and permit - application, renewal and record
  • Ensure plant abide to Typhoid and Audiometric requirement
  • Identify and maintain OHD that meeting HSE requirement

 

Event & Activity Management

  • Accountable for plant wide event and employees activities, program and calendar and it's communication
  • Keep track on efficiency of activities and collect feedback for improvement

 

Visitor Management

  • Accountable for efficiency of visitor management - government officers, auditors, customers, candidates, suppliers etc

 

Others

  • Security Management if required
  • Indirect purchase if required

Qualifications and skills

  • The people services lead should be in possession of a Degree in Admin/Human Resource from a recognized university.
  • Should have a minimum of five years working experience in a manfacturing environment. Experience in conducting internal training will be essential.
  • Experience in managing time attendance (Overtime calculation) and Foreign Worker management.
  • Working experience with ISO 9001 Quality System, ISO14001, GMP, HACCP & 5S is an advantage.
