Key responsibilities

•       Ensure safety considerations are given top priority in work order planning.

•  Planning and scheduling of maintenance work for technicians to included Work Orders, if needed, and Preventative Maintenance.

•  Work directly with Maintenance Manager and Supervisors to plan preventative and corrective maintenance work orders, develop weekly and long-term schedules, and plan plant shutdowns.

•  Brief the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor to determine short- and long-term priorities.

•  Define safe work procedures, best practices, PPE, tools, and equipment to be included in work orders and preventative maintenance.

•  Accurately estimate job hours by trade, parts and resources required for all planned work orders.

•  Manage appropriate level of planned work order backlog at all times.

•  Maintain complete and accurate records/plans within System Applications & Products in Data Processing (SAP).

•  Train maintenance/operations personnel in proper use of SAP to ensure highest quality work orders are produced and maintained for future reference.

•  Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory levels Daily/Weekly/Monthly to identify any inventory errors. Report to Maintenance Manager/Supervisor.

•  Initiate purchase orders and complete all associated tasks in the purchasing process.

•  Provide updates on all aspects of inventory, purchasing, SAP, COUPA etc. and relay such information effectively to the Maintenance Manager and/or Supervisor.

•  Drafts and implements the necessary corrective and preventive improvement plans in addition to equipment replacement plans.

•  Maintain spare parts is frequently checked and accurate.

•  Maintain and update all Purchase Orders with Maintenance Manager/ Supervisor to ensure status of arrivals

•  Schedule all Preventative Maintenance (PM) in a timely manner.

 

Qualifications and skills

•       Industrial maintenance experience.

•  HS diploma or GED.

•  Demonstrated work experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.

•  Three-Five years of experience as a full-time maintenance planner/scheduler or similarly related field.

•  Experience with SAP or similar CMMS

•  COUPA experience or similar purchasing systems.

 

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $62,906 to $92,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
