About the role

To assure compliance of Kerry Products with appropriate regulations and to serve as a regulatory support to internal and external customers for regulatory matters for Thailand. 

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate all Regulatory Activities for Thailand across all Core Technologies
  • Keep abreast of Compliance standards for Thailand Business in line with Food Standards in APMEA and other International Regulations which may have an impact in APMEA. 
  • Liaise, influence and interface with Local and Regional Regulatory bodies (Government and Non-Government) for any proposed Regulatory changes and to make sure that the regulatory changes are managed for Kerry products with no significant impact. Provide feedback and be part of the review process.
  • Fully understand, monitor and maintain up-to-date awareness and knowledge of relevant food regulations with focus on Thailand and APMEA Regions and ensure compliance of Kerry products with appropriate regulations.
  • Providing technical support and advice to stakeholders and customers regarding regulatory issues.
  • Support consumer complaints and substandard cases to minimize risk before impact company business.
  • RA Thailand contact point, setting up internal procedures/SOPs and best practices in order to ensure alignment to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and mentor the regulatory team in Thailand to deliver efficient, accurate and timely regulatory information to internal and external customers.
  • Manage the development of the regulatory team, with training/knowledge as required to enhance the required skills of the team. 
  • Take the lead on regulatory related business projects as appropriate
  • Lead agenda for FDA/Halal audit. 
     
Qualifications and skills
  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related area
  • At least 10 years’ experience in food industry in Regulatory, QA or RD&A.
  • Previous management experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Have prior experience in engaging in Thailand FDA
  • Proven leadership skills and capacity to develop others
  • Driven to deliver and collaborate – focusing on stakeholder engagement and solution delivery
  • Personally credible, takes personally accountability and ownership
  • Proven ability to maintain and develop partnerships with key customers
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems/procedures, and to utilize and leverage available internal and external resources
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines
