About the role

 

 

The WIP SUPERVISOR is a part of the Production function and includes the receiving and storage of raw material & packaging items. Responsible for the supervision and development of the materials operations processes within the plant and establishing policies and performance standards.
 

 

Work Location : Bangpoo 

 

Reporting to : Production Manager 

Key responsibilities

 

 

⦁    Managing inventory stock control and reconciling with data storage system.
⦁    Ensure consistency, accuracy of inventory and identify all related operational problems.
⦁    Responsible for materials assignment and ingredients preparation for production, following SAP process.
⦁    Establish and execute cycle count schedules.
⦁    Maintain complete discipline of production staffs and related with qualities system e.g. GMP, HACCP, BRC, SQMS, OHSAS14001 etc.
⦁    Responsible for shift schedules, including work station assignments, rotations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employment, etc.  
⦁    Responsible for training of new Production / WIP employees in proper methods and procedures in order to perform the job to a high level. Continue to develop and lead existing employees with ongoing training.

 

Qualifications and skills

 

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or any related field.
• Minimum 1 - 2 years’ supervisory experience in a Supply Chain, Warehousing or Manufacturing environment.
• Computer literate – must have experience using MS Office, in particular MS Word and MS Excel
• Previous experience working in Food Production Manufacturing is preferred
• Knowledge of SAP or similar inventory management system is a distinct advantage
• Able to work shift
