About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and expanding a robust distribution network to ensure the efficient delivery of DVG products and services. Your role involves working closely with distributors to identify and onboard new distribution partners, strengthen relationships with existing sub-distributors, and ensure optimal performance through training, support, and continuous development initiatives. Additionally, you conduct market visits and sub-distributor visits, monitor sales results or trends, analyze data, and offer strategies to align with each region's culture or trend.

Key responsibilities
Develop and Expand Distribution Channels:
- Identify new distribution opportunities and potential partners to expand the company’s market reach.
- Develop a strategic distribution plan that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distribution partners to ensure long-term cooperation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for distributors addressing their concerns and providing solutions to any issues.
- Conduct regular reviews of Distributors performance and mark recommendations for improvement.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Establish KPIs and monitor Distributors performance, sales targets, and growth metrics.
- Analyze sales trends and distribution network efficiency, making adjustments where necessary.
- Ensure timely product delivery and adequate inventory levels across the distribution network.
Training and Support:
- Providing training and development opportunities for Aroma shop sales team or owner, Bakery Wholesales team to ensure they are knowledgeable about DVG products and services.
- Offer sales and technical support to Distributors to improve their effectiveness.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure smooth coordination and communication across all distribution channels.
- Provide insights and feedback regarding distribution network needs and performance.
Budgeting and Reports:
- Prepare budgets for distribution initiative, events, promotions, trade deal expenses versus sales performance or brand building or sales incremental.
- Understanding sales performance of each region and monitor, analysis through monthly reports
Qualifications and skills
- Preferably a Bachelor’s or higher Degree in Food Science / Food Technology or similar discipline, with at least 2-3 years’ experience.
- Preferably some experience working in a laboratory setting, food production facilities or relevant industries.
- Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven experience working successfully with multifunctional teams to ensure achievement of strategic business goals.
